I have a Ford Mainline Ute in for rectification and completion after it was removed from another repair shop.

The current push is to get the interior finalised, and I have just completed the console.

It will be covered with Leather

That really looks nice, the leather will make it look rich. Please keep us posted with updates.

Looking good.

How did you emboss the tapered flute in the center of the console?

Bill,

I think Joe may have to think before he answers that question
I stretched the area on the shot-bag, then tuned it on the edge of a steel bench.
The tapered flute element was taken from the detail in the rear 1/4 panel.

The console was originally to be covered with leather, however the vehicle owner liked the raw console so much it will be painted to match the dash(later)

Very nice! I love the dash, but the wheel is on the wrong side. LOL.... Kind of what I am looking for. DO you have any build photos of the whole interior.

I been thinking about rolling tubes, or rods for the form, of the dash, and console on my project, but might stretch shrink angles with beads to give my detail, and use for patterns. Still thinking.

Thanks, for sharing.
