Shane, Are you looking at hosting an event in that area?

If there is enough interest, yes. Green Bay is 1/2 hour away, Chicago is only 3 hours from us. Detroit only 6.

I drove 6 hours to take the Dagger class in Detroit on a Friday and 6 hours back on Sunday night, back at work Monday morning.

Shane, what is enough interest and any idea of the timing, number of days? What dates/time frame are you considering?

Not sure yet, I have a thread going on the HAMB as well and it looks like there is some interest for sure. How much notice or how far do you push them out?

Shane, As far a timing you need to give enough advance notice so that people can plan, vacations, days off, etc. It also depends on if it is a weekend, two day event or something longer. You want to have basically nice weather if possible, mid winter is not a good time for travel or hosting an event. You also need to see what else is happening in the area that is car related or metal shaping related, don't want a conflict with any major event in the area. Other big events also affect hotel/motel availability. Where are people going to eat, there are elsewhere. Just things to consider.

I'd come down from the Yoop to do it.
