Do you have any pictures of the step you took to get the bliser made? Many beginners don't believe that quality is possible with hand tools. Thanks for sharing Steve

I might have some if not I can always make another one.
I have a Ron Fornier book that I looked at for years that shows him making a blister, I thought there is no way in hell you could take that lumpy part beat to death with a hammer and make something nice out of it...Then I tried it and it works. This little one is the first one I made. This one covers up the wiring terminals on my electric fan.

OH so CLEAN! sharp and the edges with their nice roundness just looks so very well executed!
now.... how many hours? what was the most challenging part? how did you round the edge? file?

Hi Pat nice blister also like the ligthning holes on you radiator shroud.Just like to ask what is a welding tank cap?

Not really sure on the hours, I used a rubber sanding block no files, the hard part was getting the small end shaped evenly.
The cap I was talking about was from a large gas cylinder that screws over the valve for transport.

Clean and nice!
One of the tricky parts on a blister is to get the flange flat so it lay "dead" on a bench.. without ending up with concave sides Very well done! // Per |
