The next thing on the list was window structure. Nice to work on something that does not hinge. I will add a lip to the back so it can be a glue in glass or hinged frame.

Ice here in Oregon so hunkered down in the shop. Templating out the cowl with paper and metal to see what it's going to take to make this work.

Roughing in the cowl panel today. Made it two piece but may switch to one if i can fit it in the wheel. Will weld these two together and roll the front style bead in and turn the edge over to meet up with the fire wall. I will leave the panel long until i get the surrounding panels roughed in. The large style line will be the last thing. Ray

Today I trial fit the cowl again. I messed it up a bit so it is now a better template. The small front bead needed some straightening and needed to be more proud. With the large style line I practiced putting it in before and after the flange being turned on to the fire wall. Looks like i could go either way.
Next i will do the turn into the door jambs and set the window frame structure and see how that looks. Beer thirty.....Ray

Looking great there Ray.
I have wondered too if better the turn the flange before or after. My tools would only allow after so you just have to work with what you have sometimes.

Ray and Marcus,
I'm following both of your builds with great interest, a lot of respect and much appreciation. The order of execution and your thinking out loud is a lot of help. Learning efficient orders of operations- what is more practical to do at what stage of the project- is a primary goal of mine. Thanks very much.

Today i did a mock up panel for the left front cowl. Turned out OK and with a little tweaking it will make a good pattern. I had some dies made years back for the 32 style line. They are half profile so i can go wide or narrow. Also did a little remodel on my HF wheel. Ray

I still have trouble with the order of execution, especially when making a series of differing folds.
Your are doing a mighty fine job Ray.

Looking good!
I couldn't believe how some folks on the HAMB where giving you crap about the picture size being too small. Your time and effort is better spent on the car, not screwing around with photos. I for one appreciate your work and the fact that you take the time to share.
