So today i decided to mockup a double bubble roof. I was thinking making it in three pieces. If anybody has done one i'm welcome to any suggestions. It needs to fade away at the front and back glass and a fairly subtle bump.
It's a good start though..................I also started using a large pipe and stacking shot bags on it and using a slapper for some of the suttle shapes.

Post 306 the side view really looks like a '68-70 Mustang. Maybe check the dimensions on one of those back glass panels. Maybe a '68 Torino / Fairlane but they are pretty wide.

I like what I think I see. It does look a little Daytonaish but that's a good thing in my book.

I had a repop Daytona coupe years ago before any body else new what they were. I loved and hated it. Yes the rear is like it. The front more cobra roadster like. I can't do the sloped nose so much and still have a big radiator for A/C and such. This one is more user friendly ( wife) then my other one.

I might slope the grill back at the bottom a bit. Looks nearly vertical in the photos. That's a personal preference thing though.

lipstick on a pig
So after hours of all different shapes of grills and headlight placement i came up with this for now. Looks like a aston martin matted with a cobra............rough and looks terrible in the pic but it's something for now, Ray

Love your work
Would love to see some details on the inner structure that shows how you attached the metal panels to the corvettes inner fiberglass tubs and cowl/ firewall. I've got a lot of experience working with the C3 corvettes and love the idea of reskinning one as a project. Have a few laying around myself and you got me thinking!! Also any pictures on how you reworked the door shells to fit your new skins would be very interesting. Thanks.
