The wheel is 10mm plate (made for Contour Autocraft) rather than cast, but I believe it's a step up from the tubular designs.

Hi Jay,
Flame-cut and welded makes for good strong frames.

I have been filming bit by bit (due to many others things on the go ) a dvd just on wheeling techniques, it should be ready before Christmas if everything goes well .... look out for it............. it might help you
Having said that........ I am sure that there is other good dvd's on Wheeling out there

Is it just the angle of the picture or is the upper wheel/shaft angled in the picture? It looks like the shaft is adjustable allowing the upper wheel to tilt. If so why?

No angles on uppers, Norm.
The large design, 49" - 39" -31" has uppers and lowers that rotate for doing spiral parts, long parts.


This is a prototype "jib sail" for a wind turbine.
