New to the Forum
My name is John Thon, and I'm a urban middle school art and science teacher near the very end of my career. I am restoring an old British car and bike, and I know something about resin and mold making, but little to nothing about the proper way to shape metal and the correct tools to get the job done. I like to experiment and create, and as an artist, might even try my hand at kinetic metal sculpture. I hope to learn and share what I learn here on this forum to enjoy the creative side of craftsmanship.

Welcome to the forum. There is a fair amount of nice art metal to be found here, and kinetic wind sculptures are an inspiring art form!
