I think I got somewhat of a grasp on this Iam gonna make some practice pieces so I can get comfortable with this

Hi Eric,

You will find that multiple bends are something of a black art known only to you and your tools. In the meantime the piece you made will easily split down the middle and weld back together into the piece you originally intended to make.

Years ago there were charts and formulas, now we got online calculators to help. This page has one, but also helps explain it, a whole lot depends on the radius of the bend, as the illustration in the example will show.

However, what helps me the most is to take a narrow strip of the same gauge and bend up a sample profile. The narrow drops from my shear are great for this. It also helps with sequencing multiple bends. I often go through several attempts before I nail it, better than wasting material.
