Default Fibratape

Has any body tried this for FSP?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-Plasterers...md=ViewItem&pt

Cheap enough very low tack, wondered about using it for the base layer, then putting a fine blue PVC stripes to idicate the buck positions before the top layer?????

Give us your thoughts

I have some but have never thought of using it...I'll look into it further. First thoughts is that I don't think it is flexible enough. It will bend and fold easily but don't think you can stretch it very well.

I use this tape in flexable bumper repairs for re-inforcement on the backside of the repair. It works great for that. But as Kerry mentioned it isn't very flexable and on any type of curve you end up darting it to fit. Lord Fusor puts out a simular product the is 4" wide and more flexable but you still have the problem of darting the material or folding it over on it's self.

Yeah, I tried to bend it sideways and stretch it over a shape and it won't without folding it over.
