Default another from down under

Hi guys,
my name is Chris and I live I in Te Puke, New Zealand.
I trained as a panelbeater years ago, doing major crash repairs. 25 years ago I bought a glazing company and have found it more varied than the panelbeating.
Projects in my shed include: 1946 chev truck, a handbuilt 30's styled tracked nose roadster (just gapping front sheetmetal before final tear down) and another hand built car from the 1940's to 50's that is rusty and will be a buck. I still have a lot to learn regarding handforming panels

Yes that is the meteor I bought. I was supposed to be finishing my other roadster but through the Christmas break, I fabricated the nose cone/ grille section to see if I could. The original owner had the car for forty years, 20 inside and then moved it out for another 20 years when he developed MS. I went to visit him today, to show him the progress, but sadly he passed two days ago. when I spoke to him late 2016, he said it was rumoured to have been owned by Denny Hulme. No confirmation in that area from the Hulme family.
