Default Learning part

Hello all,
Because I am learning metalshaping with common tools, I decided to choose as a learning part or exercice a roadster rear side panel (quite similar to a 32 Ford). The size is same as for a pedal car. For doing this one, I can use english wheel, bead roller, shrinker/stretcher and moreover, I like its shape so representative.
After several tests, the results:

It's not perfect but I am happy with.
Only one question for the specialists : the bottom edge is too long and there is a distortion. I tried to schrink the edge and then blend the shape but nothing happens. What could be the reason ? How do you do to avoid that ? It's not really a problem because it' a part for training and also because I am going to do the wheel arch. I thank you all in advance.
