Great to see Will again yesterday and many thanks to the guys at Mathews Construction Co. for the help loading the wheels.
These two wheels will find their homes in Northern Virginia and in Southern Maryland (not Pa.) If someone is on the fence as to wanting to purchase one of their own and wants to try one out they can visit my shop after I get it mounted on a stand. (Perhaps Robert will chime in with an offer also) If you actually put your hands on one and use it you will see that their are distinct differences between cast and fabricated wheeling machines, and this would be an opportunity to decide if those differences are important to "you". These wheels come from the other side of the world and are made correctly. They perform very very well and there is also a special set of anvils and upper wheel being made by the fine folks at Hoosier Profile to meet Peters specifications. Think long think wrong guys..........

All I can say guys is that you wont be sorry!! I have had mine for quite some time now and it does everything I ask of it.Good to see some Australian craftsmanship being exported and appreciated!! I made a wheelable frame for mine with legs that jack up for stability when you have it in place close to the job!!

Progress on Thmmasini wheeling machine shipment
We worked as little today to get more of the wheeling machines into their own hands. Kirk got two a few days ago and Mark Seybold is picking his up tomorrow. The others are being prepared for crating and shipping. We put Jimmy Matthews machine on his new stand.

Nice! I do like the look of Peter's design. Out of interest, what do they weigh?

Thanks Peter/Jim. That almost makes the wheel portable! At least easily moveable around the workshop. That's one sweet machine!
Peter - I tried looking on your website for info, but could only find a fabricated wheel. Have you stopped making the fabbed wheel? Cheers, Matt |

Well it wasn't supposed to rain in the mid-Atlantic states today until later tonight, but wouldn't you know, loading something in the back of the truck at Kirk's just seemed to coax the precipitation from the sky.
And here we are, unloaded back in the shop, still needing to make the stand. I'll pick up some materials likely on Monday.. Kirk, thanks again for the transportation services and also for the shop tour this morning (a three hour tour....) I've been talking for a few years now about visiting, so it's about time I got up there..
