Hello from Northern Ontario, Canada
I live in a small city (North Bay) 200 miles north of Toronto. Winters are brutal, and summers are short! I work 700 miles west of home (Thunder Bay) as a hoist mechanic at one of only two palladium mines in North America.
I've always done the majority of my own work on cars and bikes, and know my way around the tools..... I'm presently midway through completion of a new shop, boasting pretty much anything needed for my projects.... this of course, only leads to new projects, as I expand on my skills and tools; y'all know the drill! I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone here has accomplished, as we all move forward..... me with my projects, and you with yours Tools, now: Welders; 300amp AC & 200 amp DC tig, AC/DC stick, 100&225amp mig, 9" SB lathe, 18" Oliver lathe, 9x20 Steinel Vertical mill, plasma cutter, horizontal and vertical bandsaws, 50 ton press, bead roller, etc..... bits and pieces are being constantly collected for fabricating belt sanders, grinders/polishers, E-wheel, and power hammers.. hence my humble request to join your group.

Hello Vic and welcome to the site.
Check out my web site for some Belt Sander Plans. Sounds like you have a good start on a new shop. Jere
