Default illinois guy looking for some help

Hi everyone
My name is Scott and I'm from the west suburbs of Chicago. I'm going to be taking a beginner welding course at a local junior college. My work could use this skill not only for the piping work we do, but our Ford vans seem to rusty just looking at them. Repairing these
Issues would help everyone keep safe (CO2 issues). Not to mention my own vehicle ( '05 suburban) and my fishing boat. Looking forward to learning

Welcome to the forum, Scott.

I spent a long summer in Chicago years ago in a former life- sure was nice to be there in the summer.
