Default Norton Blaze abrasives ???

Has anyone had any personal experience using Norton Blaze abrasives on the ever popular 4 ½” grinders ? Any thoughts on how fast they cut, how long they last and how much dust they make are much appreciated before I part with $$$. Thank you ~ John Buchtenkirch

I have no experience with the 4 1/2" version but the 2" and 3" orange blaze rolocs are the best I have found.

Very interesting. I will definitely look into these. I'd like to know if they make discs for 5" body sanders. I've had really good licj with SAIT, particularly, their .040" cutoff wheels.

I may get some to try out at work. If they live grinding weld prep on high hard armor plate over a stone wheel, they'll probably work well on anything.

Really bad video for safety!
1. No guard around the wheel and his gut only about an inch away.
2. No side handle being used, even though the machine was built with one.
3. No hearing protection, even though an angle grinder typically produces permanently damaging decibels for this task.
4. Sparks flying onto a cotton shirt - guess who burnt a hole in his cotton shirt a couple of months ago using a 9" grinder with a guard on it!

Cheers Charlie

Default Afraid

We have been using abrasives on hard paper for years with good results. Better grind. It does not warm up so much of a cut thing. It has a longer life. They can not fly bigger pieces. We used it to cut the welds on the sheet metal.

Those who are afraid of working must sit in the office and takeit more money.
