Here is a picture of the tools billfunk29 and I described. I just made a larger one for some 3/4"' round I needed to bend. Note how the two bars rest on the vise jaws, if you want to make a tool wider than the vise you'll need to adequately support the bars and add something to keep your tool from siding down through the vise jaws.

Seeing the vice held tools brings up a thought. I use an arbor press for point- bending this way. By marking out regular spacings and pressing a repeatable amount a pretty fair curve can be approached. If no press is available, why not use a vice? Make tools similar to the ones shown by fciron that can be held between the jaws of the vice and squeeze a controlled amount at regular spacings.
