Yes Shawn it was hammered in by hand. To start with I tipped a flange on the lip. That was done with the pulmax dies and by hand. The fixture has a tab welded to the edge of the slot. I rested the flange against the tab, and the chisel against the flange. The biggest challenge was keeping the bead a consistent depth. It wasn't hard to follow the edge. The fixture really works nice to straighten out the places I welded into the fender lip.
I didn't really keep track of the hours spent on them but it took 5 weeks. I would guess around 80 to 100 hours. That includes making several sets of dies and some scrap. I'm hoping the fronts don't take anything close to that but who knows? It depends on how they fit with the headlight bar and the frame..

Yes it was the dies for the fender lip. Sorry about that I'm still learning how to post with my phone. I don't do as much posting since my computer crashed.
