Default Hello from Australia

Hello everyone my name is Kip i am 27 years old and live in Brisbane Australia.

I started in the panel industry 10 years ago and worked for 6 years with porsche where i learnt to metal finish all of my repair work. I am now the head panel beater for Lamborghini and Ferrari shop in my city doing smash repair and restoration.

I have been lucky enough to be awarded this year with a Winston Churchill Fellowship. which is a scholarship kind of thing that sends regular joes around the world to study our fields of interest and bring our knowledge gained back to share with Australia. My plans are to travel to USA UK and ITALY to learn and work with the best coachbuilders in the world.

Hoping to learn as much as possible here, and hoping to make as many connections as possible to visit the best shops around the world on my travels.

thanks

Invention is a combination of brains and materials.
The more brains you use, the less materials you need.

Welcome to the forum Kip.
You sound serious about craftsmanship, and it sounds like you have a good start. Probably a good time for you to journey out a bit ....
Best of joy and success to you,
