Default Just another new guy

Hi all,
My name is Mick, I live in Northern California. I am a classic car / hot rod enthusiast.
I have rebuilt cars for many years and do my own bodywork, through the years I have learned a lot of things not to do, and as I get older I’m trying not to make the same mistakes. I think I can learn a lot from this site.
My next project is a second generation El Camino that will need some rust repair around the windshield and rear window areas, as well as the floor pan.

That's my story and I’m sticking to it............but don't be surprised if I start asking a lot of basic questions because this project is a lot bigger than I have attempted before.

Hi Mick.

Welcome to All Metalshaping, I only joined 6 wks ago and found everyone very willing to help with any problems you may have related to shaping metal.

Take a while to read thru the varied threads and ask for advice and ideas around your project.

We like photos as you work on your build.

Enjoy.
