Thanks Paul. ------ This car is my personal car. This is the car I could never build for a customer due to the amount of time involved. As you can see this is definitely not a cookie cutter car. Not that there are not really nice cookie cutter cars out there but once you look under the skin weather a Ford Chevy or Dodge they are all the same and the last car is the same the current car and the same as the next car. This allows R&D to be spread out over many units to help bring the cost down.

Here I am in 1964 racing Gas Ronda in his Thunderbolt. His was a dark maroon color................ Now you can paint you's anything you like as long as you have Thunderbolt on the rear quarter.

Cool picture Jere. What's interesting is my paint guy has a custom dark maroon he wants to use.

I also beat Ronda...
Orange County Funny car meet. Don't ask me what year, too long ago. OCIR had advertised 32 funny cars on a summer Saturday night. Because it was summer all of the big pros were back east. I had a Vet we built on the garage floor called Raunchy. Blown Big block Chev on nitro.
First round we were matched up with Ronda. We used a pick=up crew of neighborhood kids (typical back then). We left the tire pressure setting up to the kids. When we made the run against Rhonda the starter told me he saw all 4 sides of the car on the run. Ronda shut down early to be safe. Back in the pits we found out the kids goofed and set the tire pressure off from side to side by 1/2 pound. We equalized the tires and serviced the car. When we went up to run 2nd round the only other car left that would run was Ronda. After the burn outs both cars staged. Lights came down and Rhonda never left the line. He said later your crazy. I will never race you again. Fred26t
