Default New guy from Northern illinois

Hello,

I work at a hot rod fabrication and repair shop in Beach Park Illinois. this past summer I bought a P21 pullmax from Stan Fulton to add to the arsenal. We are still learning its capabilities and probably be learning for the next 30 years.

There is so much to learn from seeing how other people do it and that is why I am here, I think it is why we all here. We all want to do it better and faster and especially when most say it can't be done.

Thanks for letting me hang out and I hope i can contribute in a positive way.

Click on the link in my signature for pictures of shop projects. I haven't updated in a couple of months but most everything is on there.

Thanks for letting me hang around.

Donny, with a pullmax one of the first tools you want to build is a set/sets of Ron Nadia tool holders. These holders allow you to make tooling that will fit in the holders for a specific job. You can reuse the holders and just make another set of shaping dies for the next job. Here is a picture of the holders that I use on my Nibbler Medium. It requires round shank and not square like the pullmax but the top is the important part.

Here is a picture of the three sizes that I made. You can mix and match them as required.
