I just love these old trucks, and ever since I have been keen and started on shaping I really have a appreciation for all the early curvature cars, even the ones I didn't like. Back in the day.

That cab reminds me of the '48 Willys wagon I spent a lot of time in and around... sure like that shape of the Finn windows and roof line.

Time to update this project. I runned out of oxy-acetylene gas. I have my own gas bottles that I sended to refill. The gas company lost my bottles on somewhere and after 3 months of waiting they gaved me rental bottles so I can move on with these fenders..Yup sucks to have own gas bottles. Or I had very bad luck. I welded the sparewheel cover in place. And stretched the weld back with englishwheel. I took my english wheel to my home so I can work more. Little garage , is pretty filled now..Next is time to start repairing those cracks on the edges.

I started to repair the front section of the fender. I started to block sand it a little and immediatly revealed the repairs of the previous body man. Looks like pick hammer marks. I did few hours of hammer and dolly work and now it looks much better. The reverse on the outer edge is a tricky.. and I have that crack to repair.

Hello Janne,

Nice work, I like Trucks, I been looking around for a while now for my next build and it will be a Truck for sure.

Thanks Leigh and Marcus. One thing I dont like about these fenders is that these are so big. I could separate the halves by drilling the rivets. But I am not going to do that.. too much extra work
