Charlie I use Kent's goggles and one of his Meco Midget torches on Ali bodywork, they are a great help, but of course you still need good technique. I clean my flux off with a household steam cleaner, but it can still catch me out. I made an Ali hardtop for my E-type Jag, but saw a couple of flux bubbles when it had been left standing for a couple of months.
I am just north of Oxford send me a p.m. if you wish to have a go with the Meco Midget and Kent's goggles. Cheers Dave

This is a fantastic effort!
I also built a car at around your age but did not know how to shape metal and used glass fibre. Wish I had had your knowledge when I was 28 years younger! Keep it up...
