Default Ranalah scam

Hi guys, theres a dodgy listing on ebay.uk for an English wheel. Im convinced it doesnt exist. it was listed at 2500gbp and I made a lower offer that was accepted. usual deception- remote location, newly listed trader, low shipping price. phoned trader, didnt sound like the older scottish gentleman I was expecting- wasnt even English!. couldnt remember the listed address immediatley. vague name, email and bank details. said his father used it for cutting. Obviously this guy heads up the machinery fraud section of the Albanian Mafia. he emailed me saying we needed to conclude the deal immediately. I told him I wanted 10 new pics of the machine, its pick up address and that I had a guy in the area to up lift the machine.

the thing has already been relisted under another new trader ID for 4500! thanks to allmetal members for detailing their previous ebay experiences. Ive done dozens of deals buying things overseas and it doesnt take long to cross reference information. this one doesnt add up.

This one was re listed for few times on ebay.
It is a scam for sure. It was sold for £ 4500 about 2 year ago.

Was that the one you emailed me about? I think the location was a giveaway.. they always seem to seek out remate areas where its hoped no one will be local and want to travel to see it.. Im surprised you got a contactable phone number... good to see they done there homework on the use for the machine .. I wonder how many other people " bought " that machine and paid up....?

gave the trader bad feedback and reported the listing. got an email from a guy in Germany who won the wheel earlier and sent 4000 pound to the UK. Ouch!
