Do permanent date set, and still have to calm down after the last meet and talk it over with the Mrs. but would like it to be the same first weekend in June.

2015 meet
Hi Will
We just held our first meet over here, and I think everyone enjoyed it ! Even though I managed to weld about 125mm (5 inches for you imperialists) over the whole 3 days it was fantastic just to get together with like minded others. We were fortunate to have Jamie Stonner Kebab, Nate Halabi Kebab and Adam Beany as our mentors . They are 3 incredibly gifted metalshapers, and great guys as well ! I'll post a few pictures over the next few days, but some of the guys have put some up already. Kerry warned me that the host won't get any work accomplished and now i see why . Hurry up and send over the map, I wan't to be there in '15. Take care Johnny Awol

What did you use to hammer the edge over? Hard to tell in the photos.

I just used a dinging (?) hammer to gently round the edges over a short length of 16mm rod (with the ends sanded smooth ) Once I had been around a couple of times I planished it with a slapper to even it all out It took less than 30 minutes each side. It also pays to lightly clamp the material to ensure the material stays up against the form If you make sure the pivot point is on centre it is an easy job Cheers John
