so working around the wheel well closing panels, i made a paper template of the closing panel that goes between the hood opening flange and the petrol tank floor. i missed a few steps in the pictures, you've all seen a paper pattern lol.

i did make a steel template of a recess that this panel has, it's not exactly the same as porsche made it but it has the same effect. i made the steel template 2mm thick, not very deep but you see the pattern, it has a crease through recess so the panel can follow the mounting flange. i made a male and female pattern, lined them up on the panel, clamped the female and taped the male then ran it through the wheel to create the indentations. pity you can see where the spot welds have left marks after going through the wheel
