made a tucking fork on the lathe using some steel bar i had laying around. the panel fits much better now. i trimmed some off after a couple of shrinks. the top is not far away either now, which is good...

Those guards have some great shape in them and a lot of it, actually look very similar to E Type. your doing a fine job there Neil.

john, richard, per thank you

there is quite a bit of shape in these panels and i can see what you mean john regarding the e type panels!

richard, yes peter was a great help and very forthcoming with information that has took him years to master, to give me tips using the wheel. hope he's having a great time over in the US and I'm sure i'll see him when he returns.

per, i am learning heaps

Just bought his 9 CD set John. Simply brilliant skills and clear explanations of what is going on. E talks a bit funni tho...
