Default Hello from S.E. VA

I’ve been interested in metal forming for a while. I’ve been around old cars since I was 12 or so and the one job everyone farms out is body work and paint. I figure I can learn how and make some money to buy a ‘70-‘71 Torino and sell my MGB. Looking into making most of the tools. I have a mig welder, compressor and basic hand tools. A friend at work runs the sheet metal tool room at work so I may be able to use some of the stuff there if necessary. Excited to get going! Right now I’m making caps for the fence posts on my backyard fence. Why pay Home Depot $4.50 each when I can make ‘em?

welcome to the forum, Steve.

Selling an MGB to get a Torino sounds like a solid plan imho... Good signature.
