67 chevelle grille
Hi I am working on a 67 chevelle, or should I say getting back to working on. I really like the look of the new Silverado honeycomb grille.
https://www.google.com/search?q=chev...FD7SYrgF63M%3A i am wanting to incorporate this into the factory 67 grille instead of the rectangles is had originally and maybe also in the the cowl vents. I believe the original grille is made of stainless steel, but im not sure. Can anyone set me straight on this? Here is what the grille looks like https://www.google.com/search?q=67+c...1N5D_LHM0EM%3A Just the center section, Im thinking my best bet would be to recreate the whole center section instead of trying to graft it to the original.

The 67 grille is stamped aluminum, and anodized to reduce corrosion. Steve

I pulled my factory one out of storage last night after about a yr and a half and thought some of the markings and things looked more consistent with aluminum. This confirms it thanks. I think it would be easiest to make it out of aluminum and depending chrome or paint. Not sure on the scheme yet
