Default Hello

Hi, I found this site through a car forum. I am a novice to metal shaping, done a fair amount of bodywork. I have always enjoyed fixing the metal, not so much the filler and paint prep. Getting ready to build some patch panels for my current project. I plan to do some reading here and learn how to do it right.

Thanks, I plan to make panels to smooth the cowl vents on a 70 chevy pickup. Also shaving the firewall which is mostly flat pieces but I may do a beveled edge across the top, depends on how things go.

Sounds like an interesting project. Hope you can post some pictures of how you make the panels and do the work. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you do.
