I've moved and started a new job so personal time off isn't abundant at this time. I'll see you all next year! (if I am in the area Dan, I will stop in!)
Did you get rid of the shop also?

Not yet, or if I can help it. It's complicated. Greed should be a felony. Worse case scenario, i'll find new space and start over on a part-time basis and concentrate on the metals. Paint just doesn't agree with me anymore.

What is going on at the shop has little to do with shaping. Welding, filler, and paint. Nothing worthy of sharing.

I have updated the above pictures to include some names of the attendees.

It should also be noted that Luann Pate, Ellie Corkery and Marion Ott were constant in their attention to keeping the area in order, assisting in the preparation and presentation of the food and keeping the men up to some measure of civility. In addition to that, they are all nice to look at!

Billy Jack was awarded the raffle of the shop tool made and presented by 'Patman' Pat Brubaker. Thanks again to Pat for his huge input to these metal shaping events.

I have to straighten out the story of the raffle. Actually after buying a number of tickets Will won this wonderfull tool and immediately presented it to Billy Jack in appreciation for his friendship and all the Billy Jack does for the whole group . These two men are the real deal and am proud to call both my friends. If anyone questions my sanity for hosting and letting all these people into my shop need look no further than this display of love and outright giving

Looks like a good time as allways. I am so disappointed that Mallory and I could not attend this year. With Mallory still being in school there are only limited number of days that the school will allow her to leave.I hope we can find some summer events this year.

Thank you Dan and Luann for another great event. It was good to see some new faces this year. I didn't bring any big project but I was able to stay buisy. I brought some copper along again and started on my version of a dragonfly.

I will post more pictures as I progress. Here are some pictures I came home with.

I could spend a day just looking around Dan's shop and buildings!! BTW Dan if you find an extra Chevy 6 bolt wheel it is my spare.
