More pics
Jun 9, 2012 - 02.jpg
Chris Rusch from Rusch Machine Design (RMD) showing his power hammer. Found that RMD designs and patents the yellow machines. Bailiegh Industrial is a marketing company that sells RMD products, as well as their own products. Chris helped Chris Gross make a firewall for his 26 Dodge Roadster in about an hour with the hammer on Sunday. Hopefully Chris will post some pictures. Jun 9, 2012 - 05.jpg Don Houseman and Ron Covell are building aluminum 27 T's together. This is Don's, not the one seen on Ron's buck's video, but built on the same buck. Jun 9, 2012 - 06.jpg Don holds multiple Bonneville records, and is now venturing into the stream liner and lakester classes. Jun 9, 2012 - 07.jpg Daniel Gunderson discussing the Ultra Stump and Donut Dolly with Austin. Jun 9, 2012 - 08.jpg Shane Henderson demonstrating the Bailiegh magnetic brake, including how to use a simple piece of tubing as a radius die. I noted the difference between my Magnabrake and the Bailiegh machine, is the Bailiegh has two electro magnetic rows, instead of a single one that mine Magnabrake has. Jun 9, 2012 - 09.jpg General shop photo with Rick Scott (co-host) in the white hat. Jun 9, 2012 - 10.jpg Don Houseman in the shorts and white shirt discussing Pullmax dies he's created after the Pullmax demo showing how to make a hollow wired edge (no wire) then how to use the Pullmax to set the rivets.

And even more pics
Jun 9, 2012 - 11.jpg
Ken C. working on his 57 Chevy parts Jun 9, 2012 - 12.jpg Hammer form/female tank buck brought by Tom. Jun 9, 2012 - 13.jpg Jun 9, 2012 - 14.jpg Ron Covell's hammer form demonstration pieces. Jun 9, 2012 - 16.jpg Shane Henderson of Bailiegh doing a demo. Note the round tubing to be used as a radius die. Jun 9, 2012 - 18.jpg Jaysin and Mrs. Carbol with Kevin Lewis, looking at the Ferrari GTO dash pieces that Joel made at the meet. Jun 9, 2012 - 19.jpg Kent White demonstrating metal finishing techniques on a P51 Mustang wing tip. This is an original tip, with the light hole already punched in the end. In other pictures you'll see the wing tip he made for the other side, that has yet to have the light hole installed. Jun 9, 2012 - 20.jpg John Forbes (co-host) firing up his hot rod to go to Michael Leed's for the shop tour. Note the neon spark plug wires, and the metal work. The pieces in the B pillar behind the door were made on his Pullmax, then patina'd to match the rest of the car. Yes, those are open headers on the street.

Blastolene Bros, Michael Leeds shop tour
Jun 9, 2012 - 21.jpg
Jun 9, 2012 - 22.jpg Michael Leeds explaining to us mere mortals his latest creation. This is a Ranger air cooled, supercharged, 12 cylinder airplane motor, turned upside down and heads swapped side to side. On this roadster, the frame is the body, the body is the frame. There is one continious piece of metal from the front, around the back, and to the front. The front suspension is all flame cut individual pieces, welded together and ground to shape. The rear tires are Contenentals 445 50 23.5 if I recall correctly. He has driven it down the block, and identified some things he wants to work on. Air suspension. As I recall, somewhere around 700 Cu IN, 1000 foot pounds of torque. Jun 9, 2012 - 24.jpg Even Kent White was scratching his head. Jun 9, 2012 - 25.jpg Bertha, the one that started it all. You should see the burl wood dash in person. Jun 9, 2012 - 27.jpg Jun 9, 2012 - 28.jpg Jun 9, 2012 - 35.jpg Sollis Jun 9, 2012 - 37.jpg Kent White working with Mike (Red Barron), metal finishing the tank.
