Thanks for your reply Derrol. I will order some at some point and give my verdict on here.

Anyone else tried them,perhaps with a darker shade?

hi David,i got a shipping quote for 2 lenses and 2 magnifying lenses,it was a minimum charge of $102,maybe we could do a group buy to cut costs.

HI all. These lenses are available on EBAY with Reasonable international shipping rates. Has anyone got a shade recommendation for OAW 16 gauge Aluminum?

Hi Jack, thanks for that. I have not used these lenses but I would guess at a shade six. If anyone can tell you from first hand experience with these lenses it might be beter.

Sellstrom makes cobalt blue lenses. It says shade 6 .
I had my local welding supply order them for me.

I have no experience with the people in the above link. It was the
first with a picture when I googled " Sellstrom 85560B

It looks like the general consensus is a 5 or a 6 shade. The normal green oxy glasses advertised seem to be a 5 grade.

Jack, these lenses go from 4 to 6 I think a six would be better.
