Default Hello from West Virginia!

Hi there!

My name is Elizabeth and I am in Parkersburg, WV. Over 20 years ago, I learned how to O/A and arc weld, brazing, sand casting, and blacksmithing. I took the class so I could weld junk together for art sculptures. Fast-forward several years and I had progressed to home remodeling both minor and major, light auto mechanics and a few years ago I bought a 1967 VW Beetle for a restoration project. Last year, I took a community welding class to hone my welding skills but didn't really get into the thin stuff there or the way to move metal. My car project has stalled from my paralysis of not fully understanding how to shape metal. Not sure how many women members you have but I am hoping to learn and gain more knowledge by being a member.

Thank you!

You can't offend me; You could try, but you would still fail.

Howdy!
Post some pictures of the panels that need replacing. The floor pans under the battery and tar boards are a given (Yes, we have rust in So. Cal too). There is plenty of great advice to be had on this site and it’s free!
