hey my name is conor im a student from cork ireland doing mechanical engineering and im new to metal shaping and am hungry to learn so i can make my project a reality thanks

hey dan and peter thanks for the welcome im building a hand operated mechanical can-crusher and im hoping to shape the metal housing into something like this..

Welcome aboard.

That looks like a fun project. Are you planning to build the entire mechanism for the crusher or just the "bodywork" to fit over an existing mechanism?
