We have had local postal strikes over here for a couple of months now which may have caused a delay for some deliveries, Starting today we are having national strikes, I dont know how much this will effect delivery times should anyone order from now on. Any DVDs posted before today should not be effected. The post office has put a plan in action to keep disruptionto a minimum. Can I say sorry in advance to anyone who does experience a delay.

Dave have you concidered down loadable virsion...... The cost to us over here may be even less. and we would have it at the time of order.
Just thinking out loud I don't mind the wait , I like to purchase friends DVD's just to have them and help the cause, and the learning is a good thing too.......

I'm not sure of how to set up the disclaimer before downloads but it's a thought.

Downloadable isn't a bad idea. Your bandwidth costs should be on par with shipping.
I just got mine about three weeks ago- It's amazing that I find myself doing things I saw on the DVD without a second thought, whereas before there would have been a lot of handwringing and wondering if I was doing the right thing and how it would turn out.

Sorry I have not been on here for a few days, but thanks for the comments on my dvd guys! I have no idea how to make the dvd available for download. I may concider it if I knew how to do it.

I just wanted to add some praise for this video. I have had it for about 6 months, and watch it about once a month. There are so many tips that it's hard to remember them all, but I'm starting to get it. I like how it covers such a wide range of topics, and includes ways of doing things I never knew were even possible. Thanks again!

^Hi Shawn!
I think I'm going to get this, since I only have one DVD and it but barely covers hand metalworking. BUT! is the environment for this type of work a garage in a residential area? i tried to get some sense of the noise level from the trailer, but David cleverly cut the sound with the first hammerblow My neighbors don't much care about air compressors, die grinders angle grinders what not, but I did get a complaint once beating a 2x4 piece of rectangular stock on a concrete floor with a 4 lb hammer at 12am..haha.. |

It is loud to shape metal with hammers, there's not much you can do about it. I don't think it's any louder than a die grinder near your ear, but it's the repetitive metal on metal smack that makes people mad, haha. I work in a hot rod shop, and the boss and other employees get seriously mad when I hammer and dolly because it echoes and they are not used to it.
