Default Do i need a buck to make this part?

I need to make an inner wheel well to replace one that is heavily rusted. Except for the general "swiss cheeseness" of the part the shape is good.

When I took my metal class thay said I should always have access to the back of the part, but this is a relatively small and shape.

I've attached a photo. I only need to make the inside radius part, not the stamped area or the outer arch.

Any suggestions? thanks

Shawn

Hi!
If you have the actual part around you can use that one for all info you need.
You can call the part for your buck, and in this case, you can also make some flex patterns from it aswell if you like to.

Im looking forward to see your progress!

I agree with Per, use your sample part as a comparator. Building a proper buck is more for symmetry or trying to exactly copy a model.
