That came out looking really good. The beads did the trick.

This specific aspect of your build is one of those things that many builders overlook. Too often these little finishing details are left out of a concept & build and it ends up looking homemade and unfinished, not professional and deliberately conceived.

What you've done here looks great- professional, sophisticated, determinant and understated, all at the same time. I'm sure others will be continue to be influenced by this build and by this specific post.

Please keep leading by example. Very, very cool.

Reverse the bead ( concave ) might have looked better to me but I like the look regardless. It's the small things that catch the eye

Invention is a combination of brains and materials.
The more brains you use, the less materials you need.

Your pure work is very inspirational. Another inspiration for me is a your clean workshop. You may have contributed a bit to my cleaning.
Gradually, I produced a lot of things needed for shaping. Now I see things I will not need or replace them with better ideas.
But order and purity is another goal as soon as the brain allows it.

When do you plan the first start - finish?

Many thanks mate. You sure do well on making nice tooling for every job.

Originally thought this would take 10 years and this is the start of the 10th. But seeing I didn't work on it last year I still have a couple of years left to finish it. I am doing it for the enjoyment of learning as I go along so doesn't really matter when it is finished.

Marcus.
Yes, I understand, it's like meditation and the joy of doing work well.
One car I bought after died the owner is date from pencil 7.7.1965 (it's a car from 1935). Probably it's a message from a previous owner before that from whose wife I bought the car. Long-term project. I've discovered history. I found out that everyone who owned the car had a bad fate. I decided to cancel the fate by renovating it. So far I have not started working on the car. I own the car 15 years. This car was the cause of a search for a path to metal forming. I did not know how many things I would must have to learn and how the time was going. But it's fun. Moust creativity activity.
