For years I’ve heard about feeling panels with a paper towel or cotton shirt under one’s hand. I have tried it and personally never found it that helpful. It’s easy enough to try and so many people have mentioned it, I would suggest everyone should at least give it a try……… remember I said none of this is written in stone. Regardless if you like something under your hand or not you want to get your whole flat hand on the panel, I see guys with years in the collision business feeling panels with only their finger tips and I just have to wonder how much they really know. I have also enclosed a photo of how I push my vixen file for those that might not have fully understood my description. I very rarely ever file in line with the file body……. might leave a file edge marks on the panel. Once again I hope a administrator can move the photo to post #1. ~ John Buchtenkirch P.S. Sorry I’m late with this post. I spent 6 hours in the skid-steer clearing snow & another hour plus shoveling it. I’m running out of places to put it. Next day I was totally exhausted, at my age there just isn’t as much gas in the tank. !!!!!!at10.jpg !!!!!!asb7.jpg !!!!!!asb5.jpg
