Anyone talked to RodDoc Richard Crees lately?
I haven't heard much from him lately. I know some years back, he had a surgery that left him with a problem with one arm.
Really talented man and I hope he's doing ok.

Hi Kerry,
I still come here to read the posts but do no metal work any more. I have had a lot of artery blockages including triple bypass and arteries in my neck twice each. Then a total blockage in one leg that couldn't be opened so had tube put in from other side to that leg so I could walk again. Then at the first part of this year a blocked artery to one kidney caused that one to die. Anyway I still go to my shop most days but have switched to wood working. I moved my 8' radius brake and pullmax out to the other shop to make more room for wood working machines. My Sprite is still sitting on my frame table unfinished. Haven't worked on it for several years now. The engine and trans is finished though. sbs with blower. (Under that sheet). also rear end ready to put in. 2-0107.jpg 3-0110.jpg

Very nice to hear from you, Richard. They say that growing old is not for the faint of heart. Nice looking shop.

Hi Richard, I'm sorry to read about your medical issues. I'm sure I am only one of the many who have benefited from your contributions to this group. The threads you started and your posts have helped me many times. I really appreciate the knowledge and expertise you have so generously shared with us; it is so valuable. I would like to see some of your woodwork, I'm sure it is as beautiful as your metal craftsmanship. How about tackling a Woodie? Thank You

Good to hear from you
Hi Richard,
Over the years I’ve enjoyed your posts and comments. I still remember shaping metal with an excavator. Glad to hear that you’re still in the shop.

Hi Richard,
I've always enjoyed reading your posts and have missed seeing them. I'm very sorry about your long health saga. (Personally, I have been using "nattokinase" for blood clots, as it is a natural fibrinolytic enzyme. So far, pain in legs stops after taking it .... knock on wood.) I love your shop layout, bright and organized. Set to get things done. The little blown Sprite looks like it will be a go-getter .... (I've been thinking of putting my miniature vintage McCulloch s-charger (one inch throat) on my old Garden Way 7hp "horse" roto tiller .... for fun.) Love those cute bugeyes. Easy to wrench the engine - very unlike those packed-in Tigers!

Sorry
Sorry I don’t have a link to that Roc Doc post. Been reading his posts for years, and not sure where or when it was. Just one of those things that lives in the past memory.

Excavator Article
I recalled it having more to it, but that’s the basic idea.
