1960 Cadillac top chop
Hello! Here is some pictures of my last project, a 1960 Cadillac with chopped top.
First a few pictures of the car before the chop: Here is the condition of the car when I got it. Came from Idaho, no engine/trans, a little damage to the body, very little rust. After the first winter, with new engine and trans (LM7+4l60e).

To me, that last picture with the car in profile, is practically art.

Then measuring, marking the cutting lines, figuring the best way to do the job. I found a few pictures from HAMB, where some swedes had chopped a 1960 cadillac and used them a reference. I also found an old Wheels magazine article about the green Buick "Super Sonic", which was a great help.
This was NOT the correct line... 2 inches with masking tape.

That is going to be nice! Reminds me of working on my rusty old Imperials of the same vintage.
