Default Kent's Metal Camp - Air Hammer workshop

P1010633.jpg
Starting with "paper dolls" over the buck, this complicated piece for a sculpture is being planned out.
P1010628.jpg
This is the second day of a three-day class.
Material will be aluminum, and shaped on one of the four APH available.
We have several alumni attending, and a couple of metal men stopped by for long visits.
Yeehaw!

Default more hammering ...

P1010673.jpg
Bill is making Austin parts

P1010669.jpg
P1010679.jpg
Max continues his complex subtle shapes
P1010685.jpg
Spinner gets a check file - all okay.
I always leave crash rash residues in paint-grade parts. Saves thinning the part and leaves metal for the next guy. Also leaves "provenance."

... According to the first-hand testimonies, this was a very good 3-day learning experience ...

This post is getting me excited for this weekend. Kent will be visiting the Redneck Ranch for a class here in Rock Hill. See separate post to follow.
