Hey Mike! Congrats on the 8C2900B coupe taking Best of Show at the 2018 Pebble Beach concours d'elegance. Lots of work involved in making that happen as I learned long ago on a sister coupe.

Wow, that's quite an accomplishment. From someone who is just a peanut in the gallery, congratulations on a job well done, sir.
Very cool...

Alfa 2900B "Corto"
Nice resto.
And best congratulations on taking Peb'l. I've seen that car in old photos many times. Always wondered when it would make it onto the Peb'l reviewing stand. Same with the Flying Star that finally made it a couple few years back. Some images of another 2900 B that made it onto the Peb'l stand some time back ... Milan show car, 1938.) Yeehaw. Nice to see them being restored and shown in public.

I saw a post on Facebarf regarding spanner head bolts.
Similar to this: but with perhaps a more curved head...think carriage bolt with pin drive. The author said that such things were used as early as the late 30's. If I can use something like this on my roadster and be period correct I probably would. Any comments yea or nay from you art deco restorers?
