Hi Richard so I have bought all the stuff needed to add a potentiometer to the pedal I then tried to wire it up so what I did was one wire I took of the line pot ran it to the rotary one and brought an out put from the rotary back to where I took of this wire on the line pot now I started with the blue one and it didn't work then the yellow it didn't work then tried the brown and it worked a bit not how I expected because the pedal could still give me amps until about 78 amps and then the rotary when turned allowed more on the pedal so I'm guessing its not right that way so I just connected everything back to normal and left it . What I do think is that all three wires are suppose to work together somehow... I watched this video on you tube of a guy in America that made himself a foot pedal and and he was saying that in the pedal there is a on off switch and the line pot now the on off switch Is what also turns on the torch and somehow works in conjuction with the pot and picks up on its resistance and gives you the current according to how much you press something along these lines is how he said it but didn't mention about a extra rotary potentiometer that can be added on

I'll see if I can take a photo of the wiring Ricardo. My machine has a 'Clean' setting for A/C, but don't believe this fiddles with the frequency.
