Default Some Pullmax P21 questions and information.

I am in the process of rebuilding my Pullmax P21 and I was wondering if any members out there could tell me what the correct endfloat of the variator input shaft should be. Mine is 8 thousands of an inch, with no radial play. Is this within a normal range? There is nothing in the manual for this.

VX 37X10X1060 OPTIBELT - Variator belt is available from spareto.co.uk £24 but with a one month wait...

Grease

A suitable modern day grease for the Pullmax 21 is apparently Castrol Spheerol EPL-2.

Hi Mike

Lovely machine you have there.

I suspect that that info will be hard to come by, but there is a firm in the US which has taken over the fabrication and distribution (license) of these machines. www.pull-xmachines.com/ They might be able to help with the specs you need.

FWIW, 8 thou sounds nominal to me and don't think you need worry about this - especially as the radial play is sound.

I have P21 manual in PDF if you would need it. You're welcome to PM me.
