It is easier to make the rear wheel arch starting from the outer bends, that is, along the length.
Here is a photo report from my latest project: https://photos.app.goo.gl/VTz6ETWQhnKyqUQYA

Thanks Phil.
Brzeczyszczykiewicz, if I had a press brake then it would be easier to do that. Aside from a little extra time it will not make much difference to do the sections in the order I have done them. Is that an MD Juan repro front floor on your project? Bill

Not a fan of MD Juan panels myself. Quality is hit and miss with too many reports of poor fitment which is why I made my own.

Before I bought it, I carefully looked at the floor. Better not to make one piece of sheet metal.

Nearly finished the inside wheel well panels. New steel for the flat sheet and reusing the original brackets spot welded into place.

More progress...
I haven't updated this for a while so here are some progress photos.
This is a tool box top panel which I decided to fabricate as the reproductions are poor quality or rather expensive for my meagre finances. The MDF Former I made and the original panel sample. The finished former ready for work. With the surplus sheet metal cut out the shaping of the inner lip begins. The inner lip finished. I have not done this before so it was very satisfying! After cutting the outside edge shape the outer turned lip is shaped. The MDF held up reasonably well but if I was doing multiples then a steel former would be needed. It did take a fair amount of work to get the shape right but I got there in the end. The completed panel with lid holes drilled and the slot for the rear panel flange cut. I did the opposite side in a mirror image for the pair. Very happy with the results.

Agreed!
How did you control the height of the finished turned lip? The lip looks to be the same height at the curved corners as it does along the straight edges.
