Thanks Scott and Rick, Clint, I'm planning on a late 60's competition type gauges. I'll probably order some custom made to order units with matching color for the interior. Nothing too extravagant, definitely competition focused!

Here's a picture of the tooling that used to get the radius and then stepped edge on the dash and waterfall. The tool on the left provides the radius with a little extra material that allows me the stretch and get the matching shape of the eyebrows. The extra material is then trimmed and the tool on the right gives me the deep step to secure the dash covering as it will wrap around the radiused edge.

The front bulkhead is my next target. There's a lot to consider here. This bulkhead, provides most of the structure for the bonnet, the nose, the headlights, radiator ducting, and the hinge for the entire front body. Shown here is the hinge and cover along with the fore structure. This structure has 3 large flared holes per side for brake air ducts, turbo ducting and an access hole to reach the hinge bolt.

Thanks for marking the weld lines. Figuring out where to split panels always takes me two or three tries and a lot of posted fotos of panels are painted so you can't tell how they were made.

Beautiful work by the way.

I've been working on the inner wheelwells up front. These panels need to provide support for the bonnet when open and closed bouncing down the road. They also close up the engine bay forcing the heated air to flow past engine and turbos and out the exhaust tunnels. This area also splits the wheelwells to make room for servicing the engine.
