Welcome to two new stake holders at AllMetalShaping
AllMetalShaping.com is four years old this week. We've grown a lot and believe we have a dang fine forum.
All this has come at a cost to the original stake holder team of Johnny Ariel, Joe Hartson, Tim Doty and Kerry Pinkerton. Burnout and Life happens are good descriptors. Earlier this year we were in a bit of a crisis because we simply could not keep up and our enthusiasm was drooping although we still had the passion for metal shaping and the core values of AllMetalShaping. As you know, we own AllMetalShaping outright (although the members own their own content). We pay all the costs out of our pockets so we can maintain control and ensure the site stays true to the vision we have for the group. The money isn't that much and we're not asking for donations. With all this in mind, we looked around for some additional stakeholders...people who shared our enthusiasm, vision, and commitment to shaping and to the site....people who would help share the burdens of time, costs, and responsibility. Dan Pate (Route56Wingnut) and Steve Hamilton have answered the call and signed up to help carry the torch and workload. Over the coming weeks they will start becoming more involved with the administration and moderation of the site. Johnny, Joe, and Kerry are not going anywhere but we may be AWOL (absent without leave) from time to time in order for other life events to transpire. Btw, we're still looking for a webmaster type with Vbulletin experience. If you are interested, please PM one of the team. Please join us in welcoming Dan and Steve to the team.
