Default Frank Z from Milford CT.

Hello everyone.

Just want to introduce myself. My name is Frank Zabski from Milford, CT. I'm a huge auto enthusiast from as long as I could remember. Started with building models and when I was 15/16 bought my first car, a early model Triumph Spitfire. It went on from there. I have a 1966 ERA Shelby Cobra Street car replica that I spent years on duplicating exact details of a street car from the 60's, an 01 Porsche Boxster S with 24k original miles and my two newest vehicles a 69 & 70 International Scout 800. These last two need/needed a ton of work. Both are runnin, registered and I drive both. Mechanically they are sound but could use a complete overhaul which will be done the line. They also both need body work which is what started me on this metal shaping sickness/obsession I currently have. This is a slow process for me as I have teenagers, 2 businesses and the usually family responsibilities we all have. Looking to possible do this in retirement as a hobby or at best a "side" business. Somewhat overwhelmed right now because there is a lot to this career. Starting taking welding & torch classes, going to go to Wray's class as it's about an hour or so from my house, starting to gather some tools, etc.

My interest in joining this forum is to learn and give back as I can. I'd love to connect with like minded guys in CT to possibly meet up, learn from each other, etc.

Welcome from MA! Taking Wray's class is a really smart move. He's a master metal shaper and a really good teacher. I took it back in June of 2014 and it was worth every penny.
