Default John from Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Hi,
I am a self employed Insurance Brokers for the past 40 years, presently a partner at URS Insurance in Toronto. My hobbies include a bit of wood working, cars, cars and more cars. I have 2001 Dodge Pleasure way class B RV that I want to make a front Air dam for and a rear valance, my passion is my 1961 MGA sports car and am working on the restoration of my 1970 Dart Swinger 340 (clone of my high school ride that I use to drag race). 1970 Plymouth Road Runner 4dr Drag car that goes 10.60's at 127 MPH. ( I haven't had that out for the past few years due to lack of time.)
I have always been mechanically inquisitive and have to know how everything works and how to do it. I have done basic sheet metal replacement in cars and am going to acquire additional equipment and tools to find out more about shaping metal. I am looking forward to seeing project that people are doing and have done then attempting some of them myself if an when I ever am able to retire.
Regards, John

Welcome to the site John. If you're looking to learn, you've come to the right place. This thing we call metal shaping can take over your life. Just reading what's available here will take up many a long winter's evening.

Barry, another Ontarion, just north of you in Innisfil.
